QUEZON CITY, Philippines – 03 February, 2010 – EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure, announced today that Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad), the country’s largest private water concessionaire, is utilizing EMC’s latest technology in data protection to ensure improved services for its customers.

Maynilad is leveraging EMC’s industry-leading information storage products and expertise to deliver and ensure reliable, real-time and uninterrupted flow of customer data for the West Zone of the Greater Manila Area.

Serving 17 cities and municipalities in the Greater Manila Area, Maynilad has around 814,600 service accounts and continues to acquire thousands of new accounts every month.
