Highest level DDoS protection now available in Far East as IP-Converge works with Prolexic
Makati City, 05 October 2006 -- Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation specialists, Prolexic Technologies recently announced its expansion in the East Asia region as it forged a partnership with IP-Converge Data Center, Inc., wholly-owned subsidiary of publicly-listed IPVG Corp. (PSE: IPVG). Prolexic is also building the first and only large-scale DDoS mitigation platform in Asia, which is expected to go live by the end of 2006.
Through this partnership, IP-Converge is able to offer its customers a dynamic, and highly effective solution to DDoS attacks, which is considered to be the world’s most costly form of cyber crime of late. Prolexic’s solution responds in real time to DDoS attacks, mitigating them at multiple layers and enabling legitimate traffic to continue to reach its destination.
IP Converge customers whose websites come under DDoS attack will initially have their traffic diverted through Prolexic’s robust infrastructure in Europe and the States. Once the localized infrastructure is installed the customers will benefit from reduced latency and the fastest routes into China, Japan, Australia and Korea.
