Makati
City,
27 June 2008 — IP e-Game Ventures Inc. (IP e-Games), a subsidiary of IPVG Corp. (PSE: IP) and publisher of the newest, free-to-play futuristic-fantasy MMORPG, CABAL Online, announced that the said game exceeded the 40,000 concurrent user (CCU) during its Open Beta Testing stage.

Kevin Chang, ESTsoft’s Representative of Global Promotion and Business remarked that the performance of CABAL Philippines has exceeded their expectations.

“IP e-Games exhibited well-planned marketing strategy and execution in promoting the game. They are very much familiar with the action plan from organizing to the launching of the service. Their enthusiasm and passion for the game is likewise evident in the way they handle game management,” Chang said.

He added that CABAL Online Philippines offers a unique community spirit that differentiates the game service from its other publishers.

“Through first-rate game management service such as off-line marketing, event executions and systems monitoring, I believe IP e-Games can sustain the numbers. This, of course, will be possible as we work closely with them as the game’s developers,” Chang noted.

Mark Ng, CABAL Online’s Product Manager, expressed enthusiasm over the astounding milestones the game has achieved. “We are looking forward to visit the Visayas-Mindanao Region to meet our community. We’re also looking at releasing more affordable items that will satisfy the Filipino market, and at the same time, increase favorable gaming experience.”

IP e-Games celebrated this timely occasion in the grand commercial launch of CABAL Online last June 21 at the Glorietta Activity Center, where over 2,000 gamers stood in attendance.

Glorietta’s Activity Center was fashioned to resemble the likes of the game’s futuristic-fantasy setting. Over 80 computers were made available for registration and freeplay purposes.

The event was hosted by Nancy Jane and DJ Lambert of JAM 88.3. Other guest performers were the bands Urbandub and Rivermaya.

Team Vibe likewise provided entertainment to the gaming crowd as they danced to the choreography found in-game.

A special viewing room was also dedicated to orient neophyte gamers to the unique features of CABAL Online.

Meanwhile, a unique character fashion show was staged, with models dressed in the elaborate and stylistic Osmium set costumes of the Warrior, Blader, Wizard, Force Archer, Force Shielder and Force Blader, while showing off each character’s personalities.

CABAL guilds came as a force in the event, bringing their own streamers to announce their presence in the venue.

The event likewise served as the venue to award winners in the Grind Fest Promo, a special contest whereby gamers were given the chance to win in-game items, iPhones and iPod Shuffles just by achieving a certain level rank in the game.

Artistic gamers who submitted their unique in-game videos were also given recognition for their works.

With so much going on for CABAL Online, IP e-Games is just about getting started with more game developments for its players.

“Gamers should watch out for the launching of the CABAL Online Nation WARS soon. As we move forward, we will be introducing new pets, premium items, new costumes, and new promotional items in the Item Shop,” Jay Ramos, CABAL Online’s Assistant Product and Community Manager, explained. “We are also enjoining gamers to take ownership of the game and the community against in-game abuses,” he added.
