Allsec Tech launches operations in Manila

 

Taguig City, Philippines January 25, 2008 -- Philippines-based BPO Kingdom Builders, Inc. (KBI) was recently bought by Allsec Technologies, an integrated contact management services center headquartered in Chennai, India. The agreement involved acquisition of 100 percent of KBI’s shareholdings by the offshore BPO. As a result, a handful of changes have taken place with the company, primarily its name, which is now Manila. The new facility is being inaugurated on January 25, 2008.

 

 “We are very excited about the possibilities this deal presents,” said Adi Saravananavanan, Founder & President Allsec Technologies Ltd. “Expanding our business to these new geographies is key to our continued success. And we chose the Philippines because of its esteemed standing in the international BPO market.” 

 

Allsec, which is currently present in verticals such as banking, financial services, payroll processing, claims management and student loans consolidation, bought the 150-seater Filipino call center utilizing it as its base for tapping markets within the Southeast Asian region. The operations in Manila will cater to the needs of existing and proposed customers from the US, Australia and ASEAN markets; Allsec has also scaled the capacity to 750 seats at this location. The company is particularly eyeing Singapore, which they believe would be more comfortable outsourcing to the Philippines rather than India because of its proximity and cultural affinity.
